Open Access Policy

Human Biology Journal follows an open-access publishing model, allowing readers to access, read, and download published articles online without subscription fees, subject to the applicable article license.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) for an accepted manuscript is USD 2,450.

The APC supports the costs associated with editorial administration, peer-review coordination, manuscript preparation, typesetting, and online publication.

Payment Policy

The APC is payable after manuscript acceptance and upon receipt of the relevant invoice and payment instructions from the editorial office.

The Article Processing Charge is non-refundable once payment has been made. Authors are therefore encouraged to review the invoice and payment details carefully before completing the transaction.

Payment of the APC does not influence the peer-review process or guarantee manuscript acceptance.

Discounts and Waivers

Partial discounts or waivers may be considered at the journal’s discretion. Any approved discount or waiver will be communicated to the corresponding author before payment.

Additional Charges

Any additional publication-related charges, where applicable, will be communicated to the authors in advance.
